The guest of this episode of “Bin weg bouldern” was born with only one complete hand. We climbers are focused so much on finger strength – and then you see her: Melinda Vigh, climbing with a stump on her left arm! Since she was a child she wanted to climb walls and now she is one of the best paraclimbers in the world! In 2018 Melinda got second in her category in the paraclimbing competitions in the IFSC World Championships in Innsbruck. I talked to her about her style of climbing, about the Championships, about how important climbing tape is for her and she told me how she became a climbing trainer.
